Alpine, TX – BBT is announcing the opening of the first Multi-Tenant Colocation Data Center facility in Midland, TX. The Data Center is located approximately ten miles west of downtown Midland, adjacent to Midland International Space Port. The facility will be a major network access hub for the entire Permian Basin and surrounding region of West Texas. The carrier-neutral facility will offer a multiple connectivity options and access to nation-wide locations. Built to Tier 2 standards and capacity for 70 racks, Phase 1 of the 2,000 square feet of floor space will offer multiple options for custom solutions. Phase 2 of the project will offer an additional 300 racks of capacity. Approval for a 120 ft. tower on site has been accepted and will also be available for lease.
