Our new system requires that all BBT customers add their payment info to their BBT account. When account information has been updated, payments can be processed by calling BBT’s regular Pay-by-Phone number: 844.592.4781.
Now you can use eChecks to make bill payments
In addition to using a credit card to make a payment, you can now use an “eCheck”. An eCheck is a digital version of a paper check (also known as an electronic check, online check, and direct debit). eChecks use the Automated Clearing House (ACH) to direct debit from a your checking account into BBT’s business bank account.
To successfully use the new system, here are the changes:
- If you have used the system previously, and have not stored your credit card information on your account, please call the BBT office at 800.592.4781. We will assist you in updating your account.
- If you are a new customer, or you have not used this payment method before and have not provided BBT with credit card information, we ask that you call the BBT office at 800.592.4781 to update your account.
- If your payment information is already on your account you don’t have to take any action at this time – unless you wish to use eCheck payments. Please call us at 800.592.4781 to add this new option.
These changes are effective October 1, 2020.
