Sixty-five years ago, connection meant something simple.
A voice on the other end of a line. A lifeline stretching across miles of desert, rugged terrain, and small West Texas towns.
From the very beginning, BBT was built to serve people — neighbors, families, businesses, and entire communities — in one of the most beautiful and demanding regions in Texas. Connection wasn’t just about technology; it was about making sure no one was left isolated by distance.
As we celebrated our 65th year in 2025, we didn’t just look back on where we’ve been. We focused on where we’re going.
That meant expanding access where it matters most. Bringing reliable connectivity to rural homes. Strengthening local businesses. Supporting schools, healthcare providers, and public safety organizations. Making sure that geography never determines someone’s ability to learn, work, or stay close to the people and services they rely on.
Today, connectivity is a necessity. It’s how we learn new skills, grow businesses, receive care, and stay connected to family — even when miles stretch wide. And in communities like ours, dependable connections make all the difference.
What has always set BBT apart isn’t technology alone. It’s the people behind it. The crews who brave heat, wind, and terrain to keep networks running. The local support teams who answer the phone and know your name. The belief that service still means showing up — locally — for the communities we serve.
Sixty-five years is a legacy, but it’s also a responsibility. A responsibility to keep investing. To keep improving. To keep listening. And to continue building connections that support the future of West Texas.
The future of BBT is connected — and we’re proud to help build it together.
Thank you for being part of our story.
65 years connected. And just getting started.
