Big Bend Telephone is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the voice lines that lead to your home or business. The following are two things to keep in mind before you call Big Bend Telephone to report a problem with your phone line:
If we make a customer requested service call and determine the problem is caused by your voice line set(s) or your internal voice line wiring and NOT by our facilities, you will be billed premises visit charge of $35.00. In addition, you will be billed a maintenance of service charge of $75.00 per half hour, per technician, beginning from the time a technician is dispatched to the premise. Any fraction of a half hour will be computed as one half hour.
If the trouble is not your voice line set and not your inside wiring, but in BBT facilities, you will NOT be charged a premises visit charge or any maintenance of service charge.

Setup Auto Bank Draft and Auto Credit Card Payments, pay online or by phone with Credit Card, send a payment by mail or stop by one of our business offices located in Alpine and Presidio.

Big Bend Telephone (BBT) offers the following options to pay your bill:
- Utilize BBT’s “MANAGE BILL PAY” option to make a one-time credit card payment or set up your account for Auto Pay using your bank account or a credit card.
- Dial 1.844.592.4781 and follow the prompts to use your credit card to pay by phone (please have your account number ready).
- Mail your payment to 808 N 5th, Alpine, TX 79830.
- Stop by our business office located in Alpine or Presidio, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm and let a customer service representative process your payment or set you up on Auto Pay.
