Thank you for participating in the BBT Self Upgrade program. Follow this guide to connect and activate your new u6.3 Wi-Fi system.
Before you begin
Have these items ready before you start.
- Your new u6.3 Wi-Fi system
- The new power adapter and Ethernet cable(s)
- An Android phone or iPhone for the CommandIQ app
New to CommandIQ? You will set it up after BBT activates your router.
Know your connections
Let’s get connected
Unpack and connect power
- Place the new Wi-Fi system where your current system is located.
- Find the new power adapter in the box and connect it to the new Wi-Fi system.
- Plug the new power adapter into a wall outlet.
Connect the cables and check the light
- Locate the WAN port on your new Wi-Fi system and connect the WAN cable to that port.
- Move your other Ethernet cables to the corresponding ports on the new system.
- Allow approximately 10 minutes for the system to start up.
Call BBT to activate your router
A BBT representative will connect your router remotely. Complete this call before setting up CommandIQ.
Set up the CommandIQ app
- Check that your phone or another Wi-Fi device is successfully connected before downloading the app.
- Download CommandIQ from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Follow the prompts to create an account and sign in.
- Scan the QR code on the inside panel of your Wi-Fi system or on the side of its box (CLEI) to add the new system. If scanning does not work, enter the details manually.
The QR code printed on the original guide leads to the BBT Customer Center; it is not your router’s setup code.
You’re ready to enjoy your new Wi-Fi.

Gracias por participar en el programa de BBT para actualizar tu equipo. Sigue esta guía para conectar y activar tu nuevo sistema Wi-Fi u6.3.
Antes de comenzar
Ten a la mano lo siguiente antes de empezar.
- Tu nuevo sistema Wi-Fi u6.3
- El adaptador de corriente nuevo y los cables Ethernet
- Un teléfono Android o iPhone para usar la app CommandIQ
¿Es la primera vez que usas CommandIQ? La configurarás después de que BBT active tu router.
Identifica las conexiones

Desempaca y conecta la corriente
- Coloca el nuevo sistema Wi-Fi donde está tu equipo actual.
- Busca el adaptador de corriente nuevo en la caja y conéctalo al nuevo sistema Wi-Fi.
- Enchufa el adaptador nuevo en un tomacorriente de pared.
Conecta los cables y revisa la luz
- Localiza el puerto WAN en tu nuevo sistema Wi-Fi y conecta el cable WAN a ese puerto.
- Pasa los demás cables Ethernet a los puertos correspondientes del equipo nuevo.
- Espera aproximadamente 10 minutos para que el equipo inicie.
Llama a BBT para activar tu router
Un representante de BBT conectará tu router de forma remota. Completa esta llamada antes de configurar CommandIQ.
Configura la app CommandIQ
- Verifica que tu teléfono u otro dispositivo Wi-Fi esté conectado correctamente antes de descargar la app.
- Descarga CommandIQ desde Apple App Store o Google Play.
- Sigue las indicaciones para crear una cuenta e iniciar sesión.
- Escanea el código QR del panel interior de tu sistema Wi-Fi o del costado de su caja (CLEI) para agregar el equipo nuevo. Si no puedes escanearlo, ingresa los datos manualmente.
El código QR impreso en la guía original lleva al Centro de Atención al Cliente de BBT; no es el código de configuración de tu router.
Tu nuevo Wi-Fi está listo.
